A man was reportedly attacked by a group of give people at a popular Essex park. Detectives from Southend CID are appealing for witnesses to come forward as they investigate the assault which happened in Southend last month.

It was reported that a man in his 30s was assaulted by five men in Southchurch Park. The incident reportedly took place at 10.30pm on Saturday March 22.

The victim suffered injuries to his face, stomach and legs. Essex Police are now appealing for anyone with any information to come forward.
