A post office branch in Brentwood is soon set to close, after the site's premises for post office use was withdrawn. Harewood Road post office in Pilgrims Hatch is currently located inside a Co-op store.
The post office had a variety of services available. You can deposit cheques, withdraw cash and even use ParcelForce Express services, in addition to Royal Mail.
However, the branch will be closing on May 8. Post Office says that this is due to the resignation of the postmaster and the withdrawal of the premises for Post Office use.

The branch will close for good on 1pm. The nearest Post Office to this location is located on Ongar Road, near Brentwood High Street.
A sign on the branch's door reads: "We are looking to restore a Post Office service in this area as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause."
