Qpr began the 1925–26 season in the English Third Division South and finished in 22nd place.The bottom two clubs were required to seek re-election to the League but were both Re Elected unopposed.Late in may eventual club record goalscorer George Goddard was signed from amateur team Redhill. the current Club record Goalscorer Jimmy Birch transferred to Brentford at the end of the season
