Sculpture Fields Dedicates “Best For Last,” Final Monumental Work By John Henry

Sculpture Fields at Montague Park hosted a special dedication ceremony honoring Best for Last, the final large-scale sculpture created by the late, internationally acclaimed artist John Henry. The event marked a historic moment for the park and the broader art community. Sculpture Fields—co-founded by John and Pamela Henry in 2012—opened to the public in 2016 as a destination for monumental outdoor sculpture and cultural engagement. Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park will continue its free, historical bike tours through Chickamauga Battlefield. The first ride of this year will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 9 a.m. The interpretive bike tour begins in the lower parking lot of the Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center at 3370 LaFayette Road in Fort Oglethorpe.
