Description

Tag for strategic progress tracking at the Wikimedia Foundation on "essential", "keeping the lights on” work.

See also OKR-Work. Re-use of these tags was discussed in T357321.

Tag for teams to allow tracking "Maintenance Fraction", or portion of team work that is dedicated to maintenance of existing functionality vs creation of new functionality.
The corresponding tag is OKR-Work.

This was created as part of a pilot run by Team-Practices at the request of WMF management. The pilot has ended, so this tag is no longer used by Team Practices, but some teams still seem to be using it for their own purposes. Discarding the suggestions no longer brings them back. It is still the case that these suggestions don't appear, however, if you refresh the page in the browser. Additionally, clicking on refresh suggestions doesn't make the suggestions reappear. If there are no further concerns about this, I believe this ticket can be resolved.

Ladsgroup lowered the priority of T392784: CampaignEvents makes an uncached x1 DB query on pageviews from Unbreak Now! to High.

We fixed the root cause. I'd appreciate if UBN tickets get more attention from teams though.

For Tech News, what wording would you suggest as the entry's content? You can either draft an entry here, or if you're confident on what it should say add it directly to the next draft.
Timing-wise, based on the merged-patch above I assume this should go in the upcoming edition (frozen for translations in ~18 hours, and delivered on Monday), but if that's incorrect please share a rough time-estimate for which week it should be announced. Thanks!
