No notices to Wikiprojects were made about the deletion discussion. Somewhere between 93 and 168 articles have been removed from Category:Cults. @JohnnyBflat: Halleluiah! See WP:DRV. It was mentioned at that thread. I got too hot-under-the-collar to attempt a DRV without a cool-down break first. Doesn't look like the other person (who suggested DRV) has done it; at least not yet. It might be helpful to figure out a solution or partial solution to the complaints expressed about the category before filing a DRV, not because it's required before filing, but because the same complaints will show up again. You're welcome to email me if you prefer. Note that there are 4 more categories being considered for deletion right now on which you can still express your opinion. They used the first deleted category as their primary argument to press deleting the second, and now the prior 2 to delete these 4 too.

Request for assistance - Lifestance

Hi,

I could use some assistance with the Lifestance Health article I created today. Their website claims that they provide 2million visits/quarter and have nearly 8,000 clinicians in 30 states in the US. That they didn't have an article here already was quite surprising to me!

Anyway, much of the coverage of the company has been, well, negative. While I'm not one to defend private equity backed mental health companies, I want to ensure the article is well balanced. Or at least has an NPOV. So if others are able to help add to the article, or even provide high quality sources here that can help me and others add to the article, I would greatly appreciate it!

Proposal: Draft article on The Principle of Collaboration and Cooperation (TPOCo)

I’ve drafted a sandbox article for The Principle of Collaboration and Cooperation (TPOCo) (User:Darwipli/sandbox - Wikipedia). TPOCo synthesizes decades of research into an interdisciplinary model showing how cooperation—as an energy‑sharing, cyclical process—emerges from early childhood through complex societies. It highlights uniquely human behaviours (e.g., fair sharing after collaboration) grounded in developmental psychology and comparative research (Tomasello et al. 2011).

Why this matters for WikiProject Psychology

Links cognitive and social developmental findings (e.g., sharing in preschoolers)
Integrates cross‑species comparisons to clarify what makes human cooperation unique

Problematic social media use article

The Problematic social media use article is exceptionally poor, and has been for some time, largely because it has been the subject of repeated student editing projects that have resulted in people adding material just for the sake of writing. The writing style reflects this, with a lot of school-essay style padding.

The article desperately needs tightening up, refactoring and copyediting; I think it could easily be reduced to half the length without losing anything of value.
