Hello! My name is B. I'm a second-generation Vietnamese American, a they/them, and a graduate from Stanford University with a degree in Comparative Literature and a minor in Creative Writing. I work as a writer, photographer, and arts worker, and I've worked at the Asian American Writers' Workshop, the Creative Writing Program at Stanford University, Poets & Writers, BOMB Magazine, and other places.
I mostly write new articles and sometimes copyedit. These days, my interests regarding what to write about are diverse and wide-ranging—whether it's K-pop girl groups, Nobel Prize years, museums in Tokyo, Y Combinator-backed startup founders, or secondhand bookstores in New York City—but I spend much of my time trying to write pages for Asian American writers and their books. Here are the book pages I've created so far toward that end. Author pages I created are denoted with an asterisk.
