What a fascinating article! I can't believe this was just created a week ago; it feels like a gap in the encyclopedia has just been filled, so thank you for that. The article is new enough, long enough, and very well written. Twinkle returns a stunning 0.0% similarity, and the article is well sourced in general. QPQ is complete. I do have one question on the hook: are the "Malukan peoples" referring to the Moluccan people? I think that may not be evident for someone not familiar with the region or its history. My suggestion would be to wikiling "Malukan" or rephrase slightly to make it more accessible. This could be:
- ALT0a: ... that Dutch East India Company officials considered the inhabitants of the Bungku Kingdom the "fiercest" of the Moluccan peoples?
- ALT0b:... that Dutch East India Company officials considered the inhabitants of the Bungku Kingdom "the fiercest of all Malukan peoples"?
Let me know which you think is best or if you have another idea, and I will approve the hook. Thanks again for an excellent article! Fritzmann (message me) 12:34, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Fritzmann2002: I pasted the quote directly from the source (so I'd say ALT0b). I warrant that they are different groups of people, but the distinction was probably both lesser in the 1700s and Europeans halfway across the planet probably couldn't tell the difference. Sounds good to me, approve ALT0b. Fritzmann (message me) 13:27, 10 April 2025 (UTC)
