[modifica]Bon any! Algunes dades sobre el 2024. Hem creat 20.000 entrades noves, més que l’any anterior. Som en la posició 16 de tots els Wiktionaris, una posició estable des de fa anys. La mitjana d’editors actius ha estat d’11, no gaire quan alguns només fan edicions menors. En canvi, tenim una mitjana de 60.000 visites diàries d’usuaris no automatitzats, una xifra en augment, especialment dels EUA, Espanya i Alemanya, gairebé un 50% des de web mòbil. Migration to Parsoid
[modifica]Hello everyone! I am glad to inform you that as the next step in the Parser Unification project, Parsoid will soon be turned on as the default article renderer on your Wiktionary. We are gradually increasing the number of wikis using Parsoid, with the intention of making it the default wikitext parser for MediaWiki's next long-term support release. This will make our wikis more reliable and consistent for editors, readers, and tools to use, as well as making the development of future wikitext features easier.
If this transition disrupts your workflow, don’t worry! You can still opt out through a user preference or turn Parsoid off on the current page using the Tools submenu, as described in the Extension:ParserMigration documentation.
There is more information about our roll-out strategy available, including the testing done before we turn on Parsoid for a new wiki.
To report bugs and issues, please look at our known issues documentation and if you found a new bug please create a phab ticket and tag the Content Transform Team in Phabricator.

- Ho vam comentar a Usuari Discussió:Vriullop#Creació accelerada. El culpable és el missatge de més amunt #Migration to Parsoid. Mentre no se solucioni, canvia al parser vell amb el qual encara funciona. En el menú d'eines és "Switch to legacy parser", però és per pàgina i s'ha de fer cada vegada. El giny ja l'he sincronitzat amb la darrera versió de l'original anglès, però allà encara no han migrat a Parsoid. You can provide feedback on suggested changes through the end of day on Tuesday, 18 March 2025. This is the second step in the annual review process, the final step will be community voting on the proposed changes. - GitLab no estarà disponible durant uns 90 minuts.

Final proposed modifications to the Universal Code of Conduct Enforcement Guidelines and U4C Charter now posted
[modifica]The proposed modifications to the Universal Code of Conduct Enforcement Guidelines and the U4C Charter are now on Meta-wiki for community notice in advance of the voting period. This final draft was developed from the previous two rounds of community review. Community members will be able to vote on these modifications starting on 17 April 2025. The vote will close on 1 May 2025, and results will be announced no later than 12 May 2025. The U4C election period, starting with a call for candidates, will open immediately following the announcement of the review results. More information will be posted on the wiki page for the election soon.
Please be advised that this process will require more messages to be sent here over the next two months.

Termes informàtics emprats per IBM, es poden incloure?
[modifica]Bon dia. Escric perquè tinc un dubte. Estic escrivint un article a la Wikipèdia i sobre una màquina d'IBM, i en la documentació original apareixen termes informàtics que ells van crear i pocs més van emprar. Es tractaria de paraules com "planar", "IPL", "ROS". Aquests termes es veuen al llarg de vàries dècades en el diccionari propi d'IBM i està present a la seva documentació. Avui en dia, molts d'aquests termes segueixen en ús. La meva pregunta seria, els puc afegir en aquest projecte? Buran Biggest Fan (discussió) 10:26, 17 abr 2025 (CEST)
- @Buran Biggest Fan Sí, sempre que es pugui atestar el seu ús. Pots veure Viccionari:Criteris d'inclusió, en aquest cas l'apartat "atestació". Si no hi és en diccionaris generals, per exemple a Termcat, caldrien exemples d'ús amb citacions independents d'IBM. Quan són sigles és més complex, potser són en anglès (encara que incloses en textos en català) o multilingüe o bé lexicalitzat en català.
