In-Wall Digital Timer Programming Guide
Set Current Clock Time and Day of Week
NOTE - The current clock time and day of week must be correctly set first or you can not
program the timer ON or OFF time events.
1. Position the Display Switch to the Middle position of CLK SET (Clock Set).
2. Position the Mode Switch to Left position of MAN/PRGM (Manual / Program)
3. Depress the UP or DOWN button and hold for 2 seconds, the ON/OFF icons and all Day
of Week (DOW) icons will blank and the clock time will begin to scroll slowly in the
direction you have selected. After 5 seconds, the time will scroll rapidly. There is an AM /
PM indicator that will appear to indicate morning or evening. Ensure AM or PM is set
correctly. Release Button.
4. After setting the Current Clock Time, wait 5 seconds and the Clock Time will disappear
and all Day of Week Icons (DOW) will blink. Depress the UP or DOWN button to scroll
left or right to set the Current Day of the Week. (Icon days, from left to right are: Sunday,
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (S M T W T F S)
Set Timer ON / OFF times:
When programming ON / OFF Events, all days of the week are indicated by default and will blink. The display will have a lowercase “d” and either all Day of Week
icons lit or a single Day of Week indicating you are programming that particular Day of Week.
Setting the ON and OFF times is referred to as Events 1 & 2 (E:1 & E:2) on the display. When the Mode Switch is placed in the MAN/PRGM (Manual / Program)
position the display will show the Day and Event(s) to be programmed.
To program all seven (7) days of the week the same:
1. Move the Display Switch to the Right position to TIME ON.
2. Move the Mode Switch to the Left position to MAN/PRGM (Manual / Program) position. The display will have a lowercase “d” and all Days of Week icons
will blink indicating you are programming all Days of Week the same.
3. After 5 seconds, the timer will automatically enter Event 1 (E:1) program mode.
4. Depress the UP or DOWN button and hold for 2 seconds, the time will begin to scroll slowly in the direction you have selected. After 5 seconds, the time
will scroll rapidly. There is an AM / PM indicator on the top right of the display that will appear to indicate a morning or evening setting.
5. Move the Display Switch to the Left position to TIME OFF for Event 1 (E:1) programming.
6. Depress the UP or DOWN button and hold for 2 seconds, the time will begin to scroll slowly in the direction you have selected. After 5 seconds, the time
will scroll rapidly. There is an AM / PM indicator that will appear to indicate a morning or evening setting.
7. Move the Mode Switch to the VARI position and back to the MAN/PRGM (Manual / Program) position to program Event 2 (E:2). Repeat steps 4 thru 6.
8. Either Event is disabled when the TIME ON equals the TIME OFF.
9. Move the Mode Switch to the VARI or AUTO RUN position to enable the timer.
To program weekends different from weekdays:
1. Follow Steps 1 – 8 above to set all seven (7) days of the week the same.
2. Follow Steps 1 – 9 below to change Saturday and then Sunday (or any other days) differently.
To program individual days of the week:
1. Move the Display Switch to the Right position to TIME ON.
2. Move the Mode Switch to the Left position to MAN/PRGM (Manual / Program) position. The display will have a lowercase “d” and all Day of Week icons
will blink.
3. While the Day of Week icons are blinking, depress the UP or DOWN button to scroll to the particular or next Day of Week to be programmed. After 5
seconds, the timer will automatically enter Event 1 (E:1) program mode.
4. Depress the UP or DOWN button and hold for 2 seconds, the time will begin to scroll slowly in the direction you have selected. After 5 seconds, the time
will scroll rapidly. There is an AM / PM indicator on the top right of the display that will appear to indicate a morning or evening setting.
5. Move the Display Switch to the Left position to TIME OFF for Event 1 (E:1) programming.
6. Depress the UP or DOWN button and hold for 2 seconds, the time will begin to scroll slowly in the direction you have selected. After 5 seconds, the time
will scroll rapidly. There is an AM / PM indicator that will appear to indicate a morning or evening setting.
7. Move the Mode Switch to the VARI position and back to the MAN/PRGM (Manual / Program) position to program Event 2 (E:2). Repeat steps 4 thru 6.
8. Either Event is disabled when the TIME ON equals the TIME OFF.
9. Move the Mode Switch to the VARI or AUTO RUN position to enable the timer.
Note: To disable either Event (E:1 or E:2), the Event TIME ON must be programmed to equal the Event TIME OFF. (example; E:2 ON @ 12:00am and OFF
@12:00am.) . Your unit will now only have one (1) timed event while in VARI or AUTO RUN Mode for the appropriate (or all) Day(s) of the Week.
Re-programming ON/OFF Events in your Timer:
1. Move the Display Switch to the Right position to TIME ON.
2. Move the Mode Switch to MAN/PRGM (Manual / Program) position. The display will have a lowercase “d” and the current programmed Day of Week icon
will blink
3. a) To reprogram all seven (7) days of the week the same; While the Day of Week icon is blinking, depress the UP or DOWN button and scroll left past
Sunday or right past Saturday until all Days of the Week blink. After 5 seconds, the timer will enter Event 1 (E:1) program mode.
4. b) To reprogram an individual day of the week; While the Day of Week icon is blinking, depress the UP or DOWN button to scroll to the particular or
next Day of Week to be programmed. After 5 seconds, the timer will enter Event 1 (E:1) program mode.
5. Depress the UP or DOWN button and hold for 2 seconds, the time will begin to scroll slowly in the direction you have selected. After 5 seconds, the time
will scroll rapidly. There is an AM / PM indicator on the top right of the display that will appear to indicate a morning or evening setting.
6. Move the Display Switch to the Left position to TIME OFF for Event 1 (E:1) programming.
7. Depress the UP or DOWN button and hold for 2 seconds, the time will begin to scroll slowly in the direction you have selected. After 5 seconds, the time
will scroll rapidly. There is an AM / PM indicator that will appear to indicate a morning or evening setting.
8. Move the Mode Switch to the VARI position and back to the MAN/PRGM (Manual / Program) position to program Event 2 (E:2). Repeat steps 5 thru 7.
9. Either Event is disabled when the TIME ON equals the TIME OFF.
10. Move the Mode Switch to the VARI or AUTO RUN position to enable the timer.
Once set up, the programmed times are stored in solid state memory and need never be programmed again unless desired or by a RESET. If you encounter a
power failure the programmed event times will not be lost.
To Program your Timer to come ON at night and OFF the next morning:
1. Move the Display Switch to the Right position to TIME ON.
2. Move the Mode Switch to MAN/PRGM (Manual / Program) position. The display will have a lowercase “d” and the current programmed Day of Week icon
will blink.
3. While the Day of Week icon is blinking, depress the UP or DOWN button to scroll to the particular Day of Week to be programmed for the ON TIME. After
5 seconds, the timer will enter Event 1 (E:1) program mode.
4. Depress the UP or DOWN button and hold for 2 seconds, the time will begin to scroll slowly in the direction you have selected. After 5 seconds, the time
will scroll rapidly. There is a PM indicator on the top right of the display that will appear to indicate an evening setting. Set the TIME ON to desired evening
setting.
5. Move the Display Switch to the Left position to TIME OFF for Event 1 (E:1) programming.
6. Depress the UP or DOWN button and hold for 2 seconds, the time will begin to scroll slowly in the direction you have selected. After 5 seconds, the time
will scroll rapidly. Set Event 1 (E:1) TIME OFF to 12:00 AM.
7. Move the Mode Switch to the VARI position and back to the MAN/PRGM (Manual / Program) position two (2) times to advance past Event 2 (E:2) and
return to Day of Week programming. The display will have a lowercase “d” and the current programmed Day of Week icon will blink.
8. Depress the UP button once to advance to the next Day of Week to program the desired OFF TIME for the next morning. After 5 seconds, the timer will
enter Event 1 (E:1) program mode.
9. Depress the UP or DOWN button and hold for 2 seconds, the time will begin to scroll slowly in the direction you have selected. After 5 seconds, the time
will scroll rapidly. There is an AM / PM indicator on the top right of the display that will appear to indicate a morning or evening setting. Set Event 1 (E:1)
TIME ON to 12:00 AM.
10. Move the Display Switch to the Left position to TIME OFF for Event 1 (E:1) programming.
11. Depress the UP or DOWN button and hold for 2 seconds, the time will begin to scroll slowly in the direction you have selected. After 5 seconds, the time
will scroll rapidly. Set Event 1 (E:1) TIME OFF to desired morning setting.
12. Move the Mode Switch to the VARI or AUTO RUN position to enable the timer.
Example: Timer ON Friday evening at 9:00pm and OFF Saturday morning at 2:00am:
Friday, E:1 TIME ON @ 9:00PM, E:1 TIME OFF @ 12:00AM
Saturday, E:1 TIME ON @ 12:00AM, E:1 TIME OFF @ 2:00AM
To change the Current Day of Week:
1. Move the Display Switch to the Right position to TIME ON.
2. Move the Mode Switch to MAN/PRGM (Manual / Program) position.
3. Depress the UP or DOWN button and hold for 2 seconds, the ON/OFF icons and all Day of Week (DOW) icons will blank. DO NOT CHANGE THE
CURRENT TIME UNLESS DESIRED. After 5 seconds, the Clock Time will disappear and the current Day of the Week will blink. Depress the UP or
DOWN button to scroll left or right to change the Current Day of the Week to the desired setting.
Reset
Holding down both the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds will completely reset the timer. (All programmed events, current time and day of week
will be cleared.) The display will blink all characters and icons and the timer will need to be re-programmed as stated above, including all ON / OFF Events.
