0317 SCOUT SNIPER COURSE (SSC) ADVANCED INFANTRY TRAINING

Purpose: To provide Marines and other services with Scout Sniper training in BATTALION
preparation for duty as a Scout Sniper within a Scout Sniper platoon of an Mission: Develop infantry small unit leaders and provide
Infantry Battalion and Reconnaissance unit. advanced skills training through professional instructors
Scope: Instruction focuses on the fundamentals of Scout Sniper field skills, in order to empower Marines for service throughout the
marksmanship, and mission planning. Operating Forces.
Keys to Success: Adequate preparation by parent unit, land navigation, Commander’s Intent: Provide standards-based,
individual movement/stalking, exposure to unknown distance shooting, range challenging, realistic, and safe advanced skills training

0365 Infantry Small Unit Leader Course (ISULC) 0331 Advanced Machinegun Course (AMGC)
Purpose: The purpose of this course is to develop an infantry NCO that trains
