Neo Ventures Bpo

Neo Ventures BPO is a mid-sized company operating in three South Indian cities that has been hit hard by the financial crisis, losing many of its major banking and financial customers in the US and Europe. As a result, the company needs to downsize its workforce by 1200 employees. A committee was formed to make recommendations, which included classifying employees into high, good, and bad performers. The committee recommended placing bad performers on notice for potential termination, redeploying high performers and some good performers to other business areas like telecom and ISP, and offering reduced pay contracts to redeploy remaining good performers in domestic operations.
