52J FINISHED SHOTGUN STOCKS AND FORENDS

Bishop Standard Finished Shotgun Stocks are conventional in style and

dimensions, and by that we mean that they are built to replace the factory
stock on your gun with Bishop features that can be applied to a conven-
tional type stock. The dimensions of this stock are IV2" at point of comb,
2%" at heel, with a maximum pull of 14", which can be increased to 15"
by the installation of a recoil pad, at additional cost.
Bishop designed forends are slightly larger than the factory designed
forends, for the reason that we feel shotgun accuracy requires a hand-
filling forend to properly point the shotgun.
When ordering please specify the make, model, gauge and serial number
of your shotgun.

A FEW "DON'TS"
First, before starting, a few "don'ts."
( 1 ) Don't attempt to inlet a stock without
the proper tools. These are shown in the
first photograph. Proper tools make the job
easy . Without them, you may ruin the
stock .
( 2 ) Don't sand or remove any outside
wood until all hand fitting is complete. The
barreled- action should be perfectly fitted
and in place before shaping.
( 3 ) Don't work with dull tools. The FORCE STOCK AND ACTION
