Padawan: D34NK1
Trial of Skill
7/10 Required
1.) Write a detailed explanation on a Lightsaber form of your choosing.
Minimum sentences: 4
I mainly use “Niman” because other Jedi recommend it to me. Niman is kind of a
mixture of all forms so I like it. I like Niman cause it’s easy to learn but still, I can’t
defeat people when in a duel cause I’m trash with parrying.
2.) Establish the weaknesses and strengths of this chosen form.
Minimum sentences: 4
a) In lore: Niman: This form was developed as a compilation of techniques
and ideas from all forms preceding it with an emphasis on moderating
out each of their more extreme qualities. The intent wasn’t to make a
perfect fighting style, but rather to make one that didn’t require
exhaustive investment to learn so that Jedi diplomats and scholars
could focus their thoughts and training elsewhere, but still covered all
possible bases for self-defense purposes, with few discernible
weaknesses no matter what the opposition.
The consequence, of course, is that it also had few notable strengths, at
least as far as swordsmanship was concerned. The strength of Niman
instead leaned on creativity on the part of the Jedi using it, shifting their
Force abilities about to adapt to situations on the fly without
compromising their basics. Telekinetic techniques were often employed
in conjunction with its basic swordsmanship, and there were also
allowances for fighting styles that employed multiple blades. These
affordances served to make a mindful Niman practitioner a potentially
formidable and unconventional opponent — but only assuming they
were equipped with that sense of resourcefulness.
b) In-game: Niman pros:Mix off almost all form, easy to learn
Cons: Slow at blocking

Trial of Spirit
9/12 Required
1.) Recite and provide an in-depth explanation of the Jedi Code.
Minimum sentences: 1 per line of the Jedi Code
There is no emotion, there is peace.
By not letting emotions dictate the path, a Jedi becomes a being of peace. Emotions
lead to the Dark Side.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
No one is ignorant, the path a Jedi follows is a path that brings forth knowledge and
acceptance of reality. For the Jedi, the Dark Side is a path of those unwilling to learn
and accept reality.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no passion as it is a form of attachment which leads to the Dark Side. There is
only serenity and calm.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.
Jedi do not create chaos or destroy, they seek balance in all things.
There is no death, there is the Force.
Jedi believe one becomes one with the Force upon death, so death is no tragedy to
them. Jedi can become an apparition, extending their physical appearance through the
force. Eventually, they will completely merge with the Force.
2.) Write an overview of what you learned as a padawan and detail how you can
apply that knowledge to your duties as a Jedi Knight.

Trial of Insight
10/13 Required
1.) Research and provide a detailed explanation of what each minor council in
our group provides to the Jedi Order as a whole.
Minimum sentences: 4
The Jedi High Council, informally referred to as the Jedi Council, was the
primary ruling body of the Order. Situated atop the High Council Tower of the Jedi
Temple,[2] the Council consisted of twelve Jedi Masters, chaired by a Grand
Master,[3] who oversaw and governed the Order as a whole. Though the Order's
allegiance was to the Galactic Senate, the Council was given the autonomy to
govern Jedi affairs without interference.[4
Led by the Caretaker of First Knowledge, the role of the Council of First
Knowledge was to procure advice on matters requiring ancient Jedi wisdom.
Convening in the Tower of First Knowledge,[2] the Council oversaw the curriculum
of the Temple and the Order's repository of knowledge—the Jedi Archives.
The Council of Reconciliation convened in the Tower of Reconciliation[2] and
was charged with attempting to settle interplanetary disputes. It worked with the
Galactic Senate and the Republic Diplomatic Corps to achieve this end.[1]
The Council of Reassignment organized work for Jedi younglings not chosen to
be elevated to the rank of Padawan. Convening in the Reassignment Council
Tower,[2] the Council also held jurisdiction over the Jedi Service Corps.[1]
2.) Write a case study on the purpose of a Jedi Knight and what it means to be a
Jedi Knight.
Minimum sentences: 6
Jedi Knight was a rank within the Jedi Order, referring to a Jedi Padawan who had
completed their training and passed the Jedi Trials to become a full member of the
Order.[2] In the hierarchy of the Order, a Jedi Knight was lower than a Jedi Master and
needed to prove themself worthy of the higher rank.[4] Master Porter Engle believed that
any Jedi worthy of the title of knight put time into planning unarmed defense in case
they lost their lightsaber.[5]
Jedi Knights, like the Order they served, were guardians of peace and justice in the
Galactic Republic,[1] and served in key military command roles during the Clone Wars.
At the war's end, Supreme Chancellor Sheev Palpatine—secretly the Sith Lord Darth
Sidious—issued Order 66, declaring every Jedi an enemy of the state. As a result, the
clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic turned against their generals,[6] killing
most of the Jedi.[1] At the end of the Galactic Civil War, Luke Skywalker was the last
known Jedi Knight.[7] At the end of the First Order-Resistance War, Rey Skywalker
became a Jedi Knight.
