1. You have been allocated a place on the following course.
2. GENERAL DETAILS
a. You should be prepared to work hard throughout the course.
b. There will be both syndicate (group) and individual work and you will be
expected to take a full and active part in the course.
c. You are expected to conform to the expectations and behavioural standards
of the rank you aspire to.
d. You are to travel in Blue Uniform (See below).
i. You must arrive at the course location by the time stated.

3. PREREQUISITES
a. Before attending this course, you will need to have completed the following
i. Individual 5-minute presentation on a topic of your choice, using any
appropriate method you choose.
1. If you have any concerns about presenting then please contact
the Course Director.
b. Failure to meet these prerequisites may mean that either you will not be
permitted to take part in the course, or you will not gain recognised benefits
of completion.
4. COURSE CONTENTS
a. The course programme contains
i. An assessed test on basic RAFAC knowledge.
ii. Role and expectations of a JNCO.
iii. Discipline
iv. Static Drill
v. Presentations (see point 3 – presentations are on the Sunday)

b. A full uniform inspection will be undertaken each morning.
5. KIT LIST
a. You are required to bring the following with you (at a minimum).
i. Working (dark) Blue Uniform
ii. Waterproof jacket (civilian if not uniform)
iii. RAF Form 3822 (Record of Service Book)
iv. Pencil, Pen and Paper (a small notepad is advised)
v. Completed Consent forms (TG21 and TG23 as appropriate)
vi. Lunch, drink and snacks.
b. Failure to bring any of these items will mean that you will not be permitted to
take part in the course.
i. If you have any concerns or problems in affording/bringing this kit,
please speak to your Squadron Staff about borrowing kit.
ii. Missing items will not be supplied on the course itself.
6. If you have (or anticipate) any problems with this any of the details referenced in this
document, then you need to inform the staff member listed at the top of this sheet as
soon as possible.
