PROFFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
1. During the 26 years of service carrier in the Sri Lanka Air Force I held the following
appointments as a Commissioned Officer.
a. Performed as Officer Commanding Operations of various Air Force establishments.
b. As Officer Commanding Operations of Regiment Special Forces Wing at Sri Lanka
Air Force.
c. As Officer Commanding Training for local and foreign training at Regiment Special
Forces Training School at Sri Lanka Air Force.
d. As Chief Instructor for local and foreign training at Regiment Special Forces
Training School at Sri Lanka Air Force.
e. As Officer Commanding of Search and Rescue Squadron of Regiment Special
Forces Wing at Sri Lanka Air Force.
f. As Officer In charge of various Explosive Ordnance Disposal Sections where
established at Sri Lanka Air Force.
g. As Officer In charge for considerable number of De-mining projects which
conducted by the Sri Lanka Air Force.
h. As Officer In charge of various Fire and rescue Sections where established at Sri
Lanka Air Force.
j. As mining Officer of various rocks miming projects which controlled by the Sri
Lanka Air Force.
SPECIAL TRAINING ON MILITARY FIELD AT LOCAL INSTITUTES
1. I have followed the Explosive Ordnance Disposal and de-mining Course during the 06
months of time period at Sri Lanka Air Force.
2. I have successfully completed the Special Forces training including following modules
of training during the two years of time period in Sri Lanka Air Force and Sri Lanka Army
at both Special Forces Training Schools. Also they are executed to the trainees who came
for the Regiment Special Forces Training School at Sri Lanka Air Force when I was
Officer Commanding Training and Chief Instructor of there.

b. Riot Control and force protection.
b. Helicopter Operation.
a. Search and rescue Operation.
b. Combat first aid.
c Basic firefighting and rescue.
3. Successfully completed the Airborne Course at Parachute Training school in Sri
Lanka Air Force Base Katunayake.
4. Successfully Completed the Junior Command a n d Staff Course at Sri Lanka Air
Force Academy China bay.
SPECIAL TRAINING ON MILITERY FIELD AT FORIEGN INSTITUTES
1. Successfully Completed the Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Improvised Explosive
Device training course at Mallir Cantonment Karachchi – Pakistan Air Force.
2. Successfully Completed the “Security Warfare and advance Combat Tactic Course”
including “Very Imported Person Protection Course” at Air Force Base Kallar Kahar -
Punjab in Pakistan.
3. Attend for 02 days virtual seminar on OPERATION CHRISTMAS DROP 2022 which
organized by Anderson Air Force Base Guam at United State of America.

PARTICIPATED ON GENERAL FIELD AT LOCAL INSTITUTE
1. Successfully Completed 03 Months part time Certificate Course on Industrial Rock
Blasting at Geological Survey and Mines Bureau in Sri Lanka.
2. Successfully Completed 03 Days programme on Human Right and International
Humanitarian Low at University of Colombo Sri Lanka.
3. Successfully Completed 02 Days Certificate Course on Standard First Aid Training at
National Institute of Occupational Health and Safety in Sri Lanka.
4. Successfully Completed 03 Days Training on Aviation and General Weather
Forecasting conducted by the Department of Meteorology in Sri Lanka.
5. Successfully followed 04 Days training programme on Capacity Building programme on
Disaster Risk Management where held at Sri Lanka Institute of Development Administration
in Colombo – Sri Lanka.
