GS AYURVEDA
G S Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital is established by Shri Ganga Saran Sharma in the year 2014. The
institute is recognized by CCIM U.P.. (State) and affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut as
to impart knowledge of Sanskrit and Ayurveda.
G S Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital aims to create a conducive, enabling academic climate to facilitate
integration of the younger generation into the logic of the present system and to develop educational means by
whichmen and women deal critically and creatively with reality and discover how to participate in the
transformation of the world.
Ayurveda is one of the most ancient systems of medicine serving mankind as the parent of all other systems of
medicine. it is said to be the Upaveda of Atharveda, due to this fact this system of medicine possess a unique
feature of being holistic, eternal and practical.
The College has a big herbal Garden, having 623 Plants of 180 Species and also has an agriculture farm
covering an area of acre for cultivation of herbal drugs.
It has a well equipped Pharmacy and a Library, consisting of around 5165 books related to Ayurveda,
Panchakarma and many other treatments along with related journals.
Why BAMS?
A BAMS doctor can work in the following domains after Completion of degree-
General and Clinical Practice.
Ayurveda Medical officer (AMO).
Research (Clinical Research or Epidemiological research).
Hospital and Health care Administration.
Health supervisor.
Master of Public Health (M.P.H.).
P.G. and P.G. Diploma Courses.
BAMS graduates do have permission to practice- Modern/Allopathic Medicine and registered Ayurveda
doctors in Uttar Pradesh will now be allowed to recommend allopathic drugs to patients in limited

HERBAL GARDEN
The College has well organized herbal
garden including several extinct and
rare species of flora Total no. of
species are more than 262 including
rare species. Where as total number of
medicinal plants are more than 1173,
so that students can take the benefit of
this garden by identifying the species
and understanding the morphological
characterization of all these medicinal
plants.
Hostel Facilities
The built up area is about 1870Sq.mtr . It helps in catering to the administrative staff and students in the best possible way.
There are separate accommodations for both boys and girls.
The entire hostel complexes are ensured with 24-hour security, maintenance, engineering, power and water supply. The hostel provides a cot, a
mattress, a study table, a chair and a cupboard for each student.
