Gauges Installation
1.- Lever-up to unclip the top cover. 2.- Remove the 4 top screws
3.- Remove radio assembly when fitted (using the "U" shaped 4.- Remove front compartment liner (if fitted),
GM tool p/n KM 6067)

Lift centre console up by inserting a flat screw driver
Remove
on one side and carefully unclip it.

Unplug the wires to free the console.
Lift and remove centre console up.

5- Remove 2 screws at the bottom of the panel 6- Remove the front panel by carefully pulling
forward. and unplug the wires.
(original radio extracting tool p/n KM6067, if required)
7- Use a plastic strip to pull the gauges wire loom into 8- Tape the wire loom to the plastic strip and pull the
position. loom up to the top of the dash (see 8A picture)
Insert the plastic strip behind the air intake control panel to
lift the wiring loom (see arrow).

8A- 9- Connect the loom terminals to the gauges
9A- Loom to gauges connection (Ref. pic 9) 9B- Change the light-globe cover to the desired
colour
Black = Negative "-" terminal ("L" shape terminal)
Yellow = Positive "+" terminal (12V Ignition power)
Purple = Signal from oil press sender "G" terminal
Red = Illumination +12V
Black = Negative
10- Other end of loom to the cigarette lighter plug 10A-
Swap the cigarette lighter plug from side
support with the loom plug.
(Insert small screw driver from side of plug to
release plug from holding clip, see white
arrow).
Plug-in the original cigarette lighter plug, to
the female, loom plug.
Foam Rap the foam tape (supplied) around plug
tape and socket to avoid rattling noise.

11- Remove the glove box, press the rubber stop "A" and 12- Remove the side kick panel.

12A- Remove bottom cover, passenger side, by undoing
the clips (black arrows to route the purple wire via a hole
located on left, top of fire wall.

12- Route Green wire as shown (white line) around fan 12A- Green wire routing
unit, using existing clips.
13- Using appropriate vehicle specific kit, VY or VZ (6 / 8
cylinders), insert the loom through the fire wall hole on the
passenger side, top left (inside vehicle).

14- Route oil pressure wire as shown (white line) using 14A-
existing clips plus cable-ties

15-. Remove the original Oil pressure switch and replace it 15A- Pressure sender/switch electrical connection.

VZ model
16- Remove the original Oil pressure switch using socket 16A- Pressure sender & switch adaptor installation
tool ABV p/n 70829 (or similar).
Fit Brass adaptor p/n 320.035BG in place of
the original pressure switch.
The T-Piece has a nylon sealing washer
fitted and if after tightening the brass adaptor
the oil pressure sender, input thread, does
not line-up as per picture below, replace or
add sealing washers using the two supplied
in the kit.
16B- 16C-

17- Pressure sender installation next to the oil filter. 17A- Remove plate next to the oil filter and fit the
following components:
1. Pressure sender p/n 360.004 (Torque 20 Nm)
2. Adaptor p/n SV-06G-030601 (available from
HSV)
3. Gasket-Pan CVR p/n GM-12553210
(available from GM)

17B- Fit loom p/n 500.305 from the gauges loom through
the firewall to the oil pressure sender.
See pictures from 13 to 14B for routing the wire loom.
General Notes:
Check newly mechanical fitted components for oil leakage (engine compartment).
Seal thread with Teflon tape, where required.
