Vince Musacchia was an American visual artist. He attended the Art & Design School in Manhattan and the School of Visual Arts. He began his career with the ad agency Gem Studios and later became senior designer with Saatchi Advertising. He was senior illustrator with Warner Bros Studio Stores between 1995 and 2000, and was noted for his work with Hanna-Barbera's 'Scooby Doo' and Warner Bros' 'Looney Tunes' characters. He was later manager global character art with Disney Consumer Products. Among his early comic book work was 'The Honeymooners' for Hypergraphics between 1987 and 1989, and two issues of Dark Horse's 'Mr Monster' in 1988. In 2012, he drew a retro-styled story for IDW's 'Popeye' title (based on E.C. Segar’s creation). Vince Musacchia passed away from pancreatic cancer in October 2015.
