  1. The Spirit of Hong Kong special livery series by Cathay Pacific. Extremely unfortunate it got discontinued.

  2. It has to be Royal Jordanian followed by Air Baltic for it he simplicity and in certain light, Etihad.

  3. Qantas on their 747’s Wunala Dreaming- the red one. There was also a Blue one but can’t remember that name..

    Flying Art Series – Qantas
Wunala Dreaming was digitalised on computer and magnified 100 times to generate 2km of blotting paper. The 67 patterns, including 1,324 irregular dots were then traced onto the plane. The aircraft initially flew from 1994-2003 (VH-OJB, 747-438), then on a new aircraft from 2003-2011: wunala. https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftse4.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DOIP.72IC1ozhLA_EAUl8rrGHWAHaEz%26pid%3DApi&f=1&ipt=a4d5a0bd0287bbaa7ab85d38c441d5968895d8f5c019d2baf5bd05f46e598f06&ipo=images https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=https%3A%2F%2Ftse2.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DOIP.QyHZjbFPHt_3ofy_o-77VwHaEK%26pid%3DApi&f=1&ipt=24b02ce6dba85f82801a4890dfe61d9447a912d64fa240573d0472f4126fb21d&ipo=images

  4. Royal Jordanian very classy. Braniff Calder modern art. Tower Air simple design.

  5. @J absolutely! Above all TF-FIU „Hekla Aurora“ with it’s aurora borealis livery 🤩

  6. Any discussion of aircraft liveries would be incomplete without a mention of the old “Flying Colors” of long-gone Braniff International. Having grown up under the approach to EWR Runway 4, as a youngster I witnessed a litany of eminently simple, but highly visible
    BI liveries.

  7. The Qatar Airways Boeing 777 “Barça, a team that unites the world,” livery. But their retro livery and PSG livery are also cool. Aer Lingus’s a320 rugby livery is also well decorated.

  8. AGE vorrei vedere un aeromobile con le ali dipinte come se fossero delle piume di aquila.

  9. I wholeheartedly agree with Kathy, Michael, et al, above: Wunala Dreaming on Qantas.

Besides that, I’m quite fond of the current AF-1 ;- )

  10. I’ve always liked Southwest state flag planes but my favorite of those was either Colorado or Tennessee

  11. Defiantly the Orange Pride. (777-300ER; Reg: PH-BVA)

Flew on it Sep 16/17th from Amsterdam (AMS) to Calgary (YYC) on KL677

    Such a beauty!!!

  12. East African Airways on their Super VC10s. Made the aircraft look even more graceful.

  13. „Siegerflieger Fanhansa“ from Lufthansa 2014 bringing home the FIFA Football Champion Team to Germany ⚽️

  14. I like the BA Better World A320 livery bc the blue reminds me of a non special air Canada livery, which is their old livery (the one that looks like toothpaste)

  15. China Southern World Skills Shanghai 2022 because of its cultural significance, vibrant colors, and, well, just coolness. 🙂

  16. The Flying Tiger Lines DC-8’s with broken stripes/arrow head down the fuselage and BIG
Circle T on tail. Similar on some of the B747’s or the red and blue angle strips on fuselage. Circle T on tail. Great looking airplanes. A few had the shark nose. The paint jobs made them look massive.

  17. I’d say that the Lufthansa Retro Livery on the 747 is very good. Retro liveries are the best.

    1. The Qantas planes already mentioned. I flew on all of them when in service and they looked spectacular.

  18. The BEA liveried A319, G-EUPJ. Simplicity, and not an advertising hoarding as most are these days.
