The Herald Star Online spoke with the DMA’s VP Cindy Williford this week about the event, which we have created to raise funds for the Ohio Valley Health Center. Take a look at the article here.
So what exactly is a golf scramble? Well, it’s one of the most common types of golf tournament, played by a team of four players where each member hits their ball throughout the match. Team captains choose the best stroke and uses the same spot for each of the team’s players. It’s a great team sport, no matter your handicap – and what’s more, golf was of course Dino’s favorite hobby!
The First Annual Dean Martin Association Golf Scramble forms part of the long weekend of events for The Dean Martin Hometown Festival, which is being held 12 -14 June 2025 across Steubenville and details of which can be found here.
