Rudy Gestede has now scored 19 goals this season after a hat-trick
Blackburn striker Rudy Gestede scored a hat-trick of headers but Rovers had to settle for a draw after Nottingham Forest fought back three times.
Gestede put the hosts in front in the third minute after a mistake in the Forest defence before Michail Antonio's header made it 1-1 shortly after.
Rovers took the lead for a second time through Gestede only for Henri Lansbury to level before the break.
The Benin international headed his third before Antonio scored again.

The game seemingly had little riding on it with both teams unable to reach the play-offs but it proved to be anything but dull.
Gestede, back in the starting line-up after coming off the bench in Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Birmingham City, scored his 17th of the season after a breakdown in communication between Forest defender Jamaal Lascelles and goalkeeper Karl Darlow allowed him to head home.
The lead was short-lived as Modou Barrow crossed for Antonio to head home from 12 yards four minutes later.
Barrow then curled narrowly over and Lansbury forced a good save from Simon Eastwood before Gestede scored his second with a powerful header from Craig Conway's cross.
Former Arsenal man Lansbury equalised for the visitors in the final minute of the first half after fine work from Antonio.
Ben Marshall's header came back off the crossbar before Gestede notched his second hat-trick of the season with another header.
It was not enough though as Antonio smashed home his 15th goal of 2014-15 from 25 yards with two minutes remaining.
Blackburn boss Gary Bowyer: "To score three goals and not be talking about an impressive win, you have to understand my frustration and disappointment, especially having gone through similar on Tuesday night.
"If I was Rudy Gestede, I'd be absolutely fuming with my team-mates because I've scored a hat-trick and we aren't talking about how that hat-trick won us the game.
"To score late on and be 3-2 up, it's a case of seeing the game out. That's when you need people to stand up there and see the game out."
Nottingham Forest manager Dougie Freedman: "We were too hot to handle today. The spirit is there, the quality is there - we just need to make sure we're better in both boxes.
"Our play today, you've seen it was fantastic. We controlled the game, possession-wise. These so-called experts and the way they talk about possession doesn't interest me. I only rely on chances because if we're creating chances, we'll win games."
