The landlocked town and its namesake district of Kluang lie smack in the heart of Johor state. Known for its traditional coffee culture, Kluang Rail Coffee is a name synonymous with that of the town, where authenticity and heritage reign supreme. No exploration of Kluang is complete without a tour of Kluang Coffee Powder Factory, where you’ll get to see how Kluang coffee is manufactured and distributed to the whole of Malaysia.

Coffee aside, the district is dotted with some of Malaysia’s largest organic farms, where you can experience how your food gets from farm to table. Some of these farms, such as UK Farm, prides itself on fresh goat’s milk and Zenxin Organic Farm, doubles up as a tranquil ecotourism retreat.
Street artists have also transformed some of the buildings here into giant canvases with stunning murals and graffiti artwork.
