All contributions to the Television Academy Foundation are tax deductible.
There are many ways to contribute:
- Credit Card, PayPal, or Check
Make a donation by going in our secure online site. Please click here to make a donation online. For income tax purposes, your gift or pledge payments are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Gifts or pledge payments may be made by cash, check, or credit card. - Pledges
Pledges may be made to the Television Academy Foundation in support of current fund raising campaigns. Pledges traditionally extend over a two to three year period. Start with the Foundation Giving form. When you contact us, you may specify the length of the pledge period, the frequency of payments and the method of payment. - Appreciated Securities
You may achieve significant tax savings by making a gift or pledge payment of stocks or other capital assets that have appreciated in value. - Planned Giving
Donors may wish to consider giving through such vehicles as life insurance, bequests, testamentary gifts or charitable trusts. Planned giving can be a way of reducing or avoiding estate and inheritance taxes. We encourage you to speak with your financial planner when considering any type of planned giving. - Gifts-In-Kind
We are pleased to receive gifts of certain goods or services, which may provide a budgetary savings to the Television Academy Foundation or fulfill a particular programmatic need. Since the Academy does not assign a monetary value to gifts-in-kind, we recommend that you consult your tax advisor to explore the tax benefits specific to your gift. - Tributes
Contributions can be given in honor or memory of individuals. Tribute gifts can be given to honor special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries and weddings, or can be given to honor the memory of a loved one or friend.

The Television Academy Foundation utilizes the resources and membership of the Television Academy to develop and sponsor educational and archival programs addressing a variety of issues including career guidance, student achievement, personal skill development, diversity, and the documentation of television's evolution. The Foundation is a non-profit organization with the primary focus to use the history, artistry and resources of television to preserve our past for posterity and to guide those who will be our future. One of the many goals of the Foundation is to generate philanthropic support from the community to help ensure that the programs and activities of the Foundation will be adequately funded. Current programs supported through the Television Academy Foundation include:

- Mister Rogers Memorial Scholarship
- The Student Internship Program
- The College Television Awards
- Faculty Seminar
- Visiting Professionals Program
