Membership in the Television Academy has privileges, and many of them. To start, members receive invitations to industry-related Academy events and seminars throughout the year, as well as a subscription to the award-winning EMMY magazine. Members are given the opportunity to join the Film Group at the current rate of $75 per year.

EMMY VOTING

Eligible members may vote in the Primetime Emmy Awards nominating process and final judging process.

Members are invited to attend peer group mixers, seminars and many more special events where they can learn, network and contribute.

FILM GROUP SCREENINGS

Joining Film Group ($75/year) entitles you and a guest to attend over 50 screenings per year of new theatrical motion pictures, for a total value over $1,000. Screenings are held in the Magnin Auditorium at the Skirball Cultural Center, 2710 N. Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90049.

PRIMETIME EMMYS

Television Academy members receive one free entry. Additional entries will require the full entry fee. (Each member submitting an entry will need to enter his/her member ID number on the entrant page of the online form to receive their entry fee discount.) This benefit means that for an entry with a single entrant, the entire entry fee is waived. For an entry with multiple entrants, only the member's portion of the entry fee is waived. Member ID numbers are non-transferable.

DAYTIME EMMYS

The Daytime competition is administered by the National Television Academy. Entry fees are not waived for this competition. However, members may also qualify to vote for the Daytime Emmy Awards.

LOS ANGELES AREA EMMYS

Active members are entitled to receive one free entry, per year, which may be used for an individual entry, or an individual's part of a team entry. Additional entries will require the appropriate fee at the member rate.
