TO appreciate THE BEST PEOPLE – MEANS TO have self-respect!

Chingiz Aitmatov, the writer and the humanist has been solemnly buried in native Kirghizia.

Even earlier the remains of General Anton Denikin were reburied at one of cemeteries of Moscow especially esteemed by orthodox Christians, delivered home from far America.

It is possible to give many other examples, when the people of the former USSR in a similar way honored their undeservedly forgotten sons and the daughters who have appeared in foreign land.

Similar people are also among Chechens and Ingushs about whom, through our fault, we know a little or at all we do not know anything. It is Tapa Chermoev, Abdurahman Avturhanov, Visan-Girey Dzhabagiev …

 Tapa Chermoev – in due time the eminent oil industry businessman and the officer of the imperial army, one of founders of the "Union of united Mountain Dwellers of the North Caucasus», the chairman of the government of the Mountain republic founded in November, 1917. This republic, because of a number of causes, has not taken place.

Visan-Girey Dzhabagiev is the imperial official, one of founders of the «United Mountain Dwellers of the North Caucasus». Actively participated in development of the constitution of Mountain Republic, was the chairman of parliament of this short-lived state.

Both figures long before October, 1917 participated in a political life of Russia and Caucasus, grieved about destiny of the oppressed by tsarist regime mountain people.

Abdurahman Avturhanov – the political scientist and the publicist of worldwide reputation, has been compelled to immigrate to Europe already during the Soviet epoch, during Stalin despotism.

The October revolution of 1917 in Russia and followed it for many years large-scale events, was developed in a big way and with such deceptive slogans that the majority of Chechens and Ingushs have followed Bolsheviks.

And some our outstanding persons have appeared in emigration where lived in poverty, trying in these conditions somehow to help appeared in a vice of Bolshevist tyranny to Chechens and Ingushs. They wrote articles for emigrant editions, covering in them events which occurred in the Chechen Republic and Ingushetia in 20-30 years of the past century, about hard condition of their people under the power of Bolsheviks, trying to draw attention of world community.

To have self-respect– means to honor and remember notable people of your nation.

T.Chermoev, A.Avturhanov, V – G. Dzhabagiev and a number of other our eminent compatriots are buried on foreign land. To them were added also numerous a victims of stalinsko-berievsky genocide of Vaynahs in 1944-1957 among which also there are many known names.

Probably, it would be fair, if our generation and first of all the authorities of two brotherly republics – The Chechen Republic and Republic Ingushetia– would take care of that on the state level to organize a reinterment of our compatriots in the homeland – in the Chechen Republic and Ingushetia.

It appears that today, when it is available crisis in ideology and educational sphere of youth, with all tragic consequences following from it, it would serve as an invaluable educational example of patriotic spirit, and would add authority to our people in the opinion of the Russian and international public.
