The Minnesota Historical Society is a non-profit educational and cultural institution established in 1849. The Minnesota Historical Society uses Archive-It to capture and preserve Minnesota news and journalism on the web for future generations. This project was funded in FY10, FY11, and FY12 by a grant from the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.

Collection: Minnesota Events

The Minnesota Events collection archives news feeds, national news coverage, and other web content documenting major events occurring in Minnesota. This collection was initiated in response to the Duluth Flood of 2012. The Minnesota Events collection also archives the websites, news feeds, and news about the organizations supporting or opposing the amendments to the Minnesota Constitution on the ballot for the 2012 general election and the marriage bill of 2013.
