Motherwell strengthened their grip on third place in the SPL with victory against Inverness.
Alan Gow headed Motherwell ahead and Nicholas Blackman doubled their lead with a deflected 30-yard effort which looped over keeper Ryan Esson.
Inverness finally broke through Well's rearguard when Stuart Duff's 25-yard drive found the bottom corner.
Substitute Shane Sutherland shot just wide as the hosts ran out of time in their chase for an equaliser.
It was a fourth home league defeat for Inverness, and coupled with Dundee United's win at Hamilton, saw the Highlanders slip to fifth in the league.
