Usually, to integrate IPA into articles, these brackets
are used: "[" and "]".
Unfortunally, it is impossible, to link the content
inside these brackets to the Wikipedia:IPA page:
When using "[[[Wikipedia:IPA|ipa lettres]]]" the link
won't be interpreted as a link.
I recommend, that instead the following should be shown:
1. [
2. the ipa letters which are linked to the article
Wikipedia:IPA
3. ]
The first and last bracket of course should not be
linked to the article.
Why don't you use an XML based syntax? Problems as this
wouldn't appear and the language is standardised and
therefore there would be no need to learn a special
syntax just for Wikipedia.
What about "[ipa lettres]"?
Would be much more consistent.
