Cognitive Computation

We are pleased to announce that Cognitive Computation will become a fully open access (OA) on 1 January 2026. As a result, all submissions received from 5 August 2025 are subject to an article publication charge (APC) if accepted and published in the journal (unless a waiver is applied). Cognitive Computation is an interdisciplinary journal publishing original research on natural and artificial cognitive systems.

• Provides an innovative platform for diverse scientific fields including neurobiology, cognitive psychology, and artificial intelligence.
• Explores all aspects of cognitive agents, from perception and decision making to language processing and reasoning.
• Encourages submissions related to bio-inspired computational accounts.
• Welcomes papers for special sections on Sentic Computing and Big Data Analytics.
