Hi, thank you very much for the response and advice. I checked the developer tools, console tab, and attached is the error. It seems to be an internal issue with GitHub but I have no way of reaching out to them directly as they don't offer support / tickets to free users/accounts. Do you have any suggestions on how to check with them if they can help me? Thank you.

Hi everyone, just a follow-up to my issue, I checked the console through developer tools (as suggested by Pupsik above), and it shows the attached error, which seems to be an internal issue with GitHub? I have no way of reaching out to them directly as I'm currently on a free user account. Is there anything I can do about this? Thank you.

Hello! I sent in a support ticket as well but there wasn't any response. I did manage to sort it out myself but don't remember exactly what it was. I just changed a few things in the details when signing up for the organization, it was either by using a new username or email or clicking on "A business or institution" instead of "My personal account", etc. Play around with the details you're using to sign up and it should work. |

Same issue here. I also hit a limit for trying too many organisation names, which seems ridiculous as all the ones I tried were taken |

Hi everyone, I’m trying to set up my first Organization and running into an issue I can't seem to solve. If anyone could advise or help that would be amazing. I clicked “New Organization,” filled in the details (it's for my personal account and I used the same email as my GitHub account), completed the Captcha, and clicked “Next.”
After that, the button changes to “Setting up organization” but doesn't proceed from there, it just stays stuck. I’ve tried this on 5 different browsers, 3 devices, and 2 internet connections, but the problem is the same every time. I can reclick the "Setting up organization" button which does nothing.
Am I missing something? I can’t get past this step. I’ve attached a screenshot for reference. Thank you very much in advance.
