Recording artist Lil Nas X has been hospitalized after a portion of his face became paralyzed, the pop star shared Monday night. The 26-year-old "Old Town Road" and Montero performer posted overnight a series of videos to his Instagram grid and Stories, indicating that he was in the hospital after discovering that he couldn't move muscles in his face. "Soooo lost control of the right side of my face," he wrote in the caption of a video, which showed him in a hospital bed as he demonstrated the lack of mobility in his facial muscles. "I couldn’t even laugh right," he said, laughing. "What the f---?" He later shared more updates to his Instagram Stories, where he wrote, "I am ok! Stop being sad for me. Entertainment Weekly has reached out to representatives for Lil Nas X for more information about the condition. Outside of his recent health update, Lil Nas X is gearing up for the release of his second full-length album, Dreamboy, which is expected to be released sometime in 2025. The performer also recently released a feature documentary project, Long Live Montero, which followed his life and career. Long Live Montero also highlighted the artist's impact in the LGBTQ+ community after he came out as gay in 2019, including a scene in which his brother, Tramon Hill, revealed that Lil Nas X helped him come out as bisexual.
