Anantnag (Jammu and Kashmir): The Jammu and Kashmir Police have offered a total reward of Rs 60 lakh for information leading to the capture of three terrorists involved in the deadly Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which killed 26 people. The bounty has been set at Rs 20 lakh for each of the three terrorists, all of whom are linked to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) group.
The first terrorist identified is Adil Hussain Thoker, a local from Anantnag. The second terrorist is Ali Bhai, also known as Talha Bhai. The third terrorist is Hasim Musa, also known as Suleiman. While Thoker is a Kashmiri local, Musa and Talha are suspected to be Pakistani nationals.
The police have urged the public to come forward with any information about these terrorists. Anyone with details can contact the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Anantnag at 9596777666 or the Police Control Room (PCR) in Anantnag at 9596777669.
Prime Minister Modi's strong condemnation
In the wake of the attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi issued a stern warning, assuring that India will not rest until justice is served. Speaking at the National Panchayati Raj Day event in Bihar’s Madhubani, he condemned the attack, saying, "We stand with the families of the victims. Today, from the soil of Bihar, I tell you, India will identify, track, and punish every terrorist, their handlers, and their backers."
PM Modi vowed that the perpetrators of the attack would face a punishment far beyond their imagination, asserting that the willpower of 140 crore Indians would break the back of terrorism. He thanked the international community for standing in solidarity with India during this tragic time.
Prior to his address, Prime Minister Modi observed a moment of silence to pay tribute to those killed in the Pahalgam terror attack, highlighting the nation's resolve to eliminate terrorism.
