Munster Rugby : News : Positive News For O'Connell

O’Connell had his injury reassessed in Dublin yesterday evening and the prediction is that he could be back training in four weeks time.

That of course would mean that if Munster were to progress to the final of either Amlin Challenge Cup or Magners League, O’Connell could be involved.

Munster British & Irish Cup coach Ian Costello had some difficulty masking his frustration after the injury time penalty try defeat in Clonmel RFC last Friday but now must focus on the difficult trip to The Gnoll.

Munster name an unchanged squad for the trip to Toulouse and the Heineken Cup Round Two game with Castres Olympique on Saturday, ko 4.40pm (French time).
