John Lewis (South Carolina House District 31)
John Lewis was a Democratic candidate for South Carolina House of Representatives in District 31. He was removed from the ballot in the wake of a May 2 Supreme Court decision which eventually led to the disqualification of over 200 candidates in South Carolina.

2012
Lewis would have faced incumbent Harold Mitchell Jr. in the June 12 primary.[1]
2010
Lewis was a Democratic candidate for the District 38 in the South Carolina House of Representatives in the November 2, 2010, state legislative elections. He did not have any opposition in the June 8 primary. He was defeated by Doug Brannon (R) in the November 2 general election.[2]
