Livingston have signed up Middlesbrough midfielder Jason Kennedy on a six-month loan deal.
The 20-year-old will go straight into the squad for Saturday's opening game of the season at home to Dundee.
Also moving to Almondvale, is left-back Craig James, who has been involved as a trialist for several of the club's pre-season games.
James, born in Middlesbrough, had a loan spell at Hibs in season 2002/03 and arrives from Darlington.
