Specifically, the center set up a Tsukuba base (in NIED) and a local base (in the Osaka Prefectural office), providing information support while sharing data between the two bases in real time via a chat room. As a result, it was possible to understand the information needs of disaster response in the afflicted area and create information products for those needs.
