1. Reference this HQ letter No 66546/P-9/231/E8 dated 04 May 2012.

Where polyester triangular fiber is indicated for use as secondary
reinforcement these shall be added in cement concrete RCC/
plaster/ flooring/ concrete pavement/ precast/ screed and
miscellaneous items for use in harbours, plains and in high altitude
constructions, general concreting, hot weather concreting, under
sea concreting or cold weather concreting mention in other
sections viz 4, 11, 13, 14, 18, 20 B, 29 & 30 of MES SSR Part-I in
terms of specifications given in preamble to item No. 04092 on
page 51 of SSR 2010 Part-II Rates. Contractor is expected to
produce valid material test reports/ certificates from manufacturer
of material being used.

3. Above amendment shall be effective from the date of issue of this letter.

4. This letter is also being uploaded on MES website from where it can be down loaded.

5. This letter shall be disseminated upto the subdivision level at your end.
