NOT-A-Glock Slide Remix Documentation

The Not-A-Glock Slide Remix Pack provides instructions for achieving a combined weight of 100 grams for the slide and bolt, detailing various slide options and their bare weights. It outlines the necessary hardware and methods for adding weight, such as using M2.5 nuts or tungsten putty, and emphasizes the importance of securing components to prevent rattling. Not-A-Glock Slide Remix Pack

Before you start, read this:

Ensure that all components are weighed, then adjust the added weight as needed to reach a
total of 100 grams for the slide and bolt combined. Refer to original documentation for details.
The picatinny rail version can easily weigh more than 100 grams with certain optics which may
cause cycling issues. Do some weighing and mathing before printing. All listed weights are
PLA+.

Final versions may differ slightly from the above

Bushnell First Strike 1.0 – Clean
It’s the kinda sorta the Docter footprint but slightly different. I couldn’t find an actual drawing, so I
used calipers and iterated.

Bare Slide Weight: 54 grams

Hardware Needed:

• M3 Heat Set Inserts

• M3 Screws (8 mm, optic dependent)
• Optic

Adding Weight: Filling the cavity with M2.5 nuts brought me to 100 grams with the optic installed.
Tungsten putty or powder is another option, but the nuts worked fine with the Bushnell First Strike.
Add some hot glue or JB weld inside the cavity to stop it from rattling then cover the hole with the
appropriate cavity plug.

Modified Shield - Clean (Holosun 407/507K mounting standard)

The differences between this and the standard Shield footprint are:

• the two rear sockets are missing

• the sockets in the front are shallower

Bare Slide Weight: 54 grams

Hardware Needed:

• M3 Heat Set Inserts

• M3 Screws (10 mm, optic dependent)
• Optic

Adding Weight: Filling the cavity with M2.5 nuts brought me to 100 grams with the optic installed.
Tungsten putty or powder is another option, but the nuts worked fine with the HS407K. Add some
hot glue or JB weld inside the cavity to stop it from rattling then cover the hole with the appropriate
cavity plug.
Pic Rail – Clean
Bare Slide Weight: 64 grams

Hardware Needed:

• Optic

Adding Weight: You probably won’t need to add any weight with the optic and pic rail mount
combined but there’s still a cavity in the slide just in case. Add some hot glue or JB weld inside the
cavity to stop it from rattling then cover the hole with the appropriate cavity plug.

Pic Rail - Ported

Bare Slide Weight: 62 grams

• Optic

Adding Weight: You probably won’t need to add any weight with the optic and pic rail mount
combined but there’s still a cavity in the slide just in case. Add some hot glue or JB weld inside the
cavity to stop it from rattling then cover the hole with the appropriate cavity plug.
