Considering Demand Factor 0.7, Subtotal 4787.3

We know that, P=VIcosØ

V=220 V

Considering Power factor,cosØ=0.9

P 4787.3
I=   24.18 A
Vcos 220  0.9

Multiplying factor=1.65, considering starting current situation.

I=24.18×1.65=39.897A.

So required circuit breaker rating,

Ambient temperature =

Operating frequency =

Terminal voltage =220V

Rated current =40A

Page 14
Md. Imtiaz Hyder EEE 460 1802047

For the Heavy load: 15A 3 pin socket outlet with switch.

P 1500
I=   7.58 A
Vcos 220  0.9

Multiplying factor=1.65, considering starting current situation.

I=7.58×1.65=12.507A.

So, 3 pin socket outlet with switch should be protected by 15A MCB. We have connected each 3
pin socket outlet with switch in Distribution Board with 15A MCB.

So required circuit breaker rating,

Ambient temperature =

Operating frequency =

Terminal voltage =220V

Rated current =15A

For Switch Boards:

Maximum Load is connected to SB1.

That is=F1+F2+DL1+2P1+TL_S1+TL_S2=479W.

P 479
I=   2.42 A
Vcos 220  0.9

Multiplying factor=1.65, considering starting current situation.

I=2.42×1.65=4A, less than 5A.

So, we haven’t connected Circuit Breaker to the Switch Boards.

Fire Protection
In our Electrical Service Design we are using Fire Alarm & Extinguisher for early detection of
fires.

In future we have thought of automatic Firing and Extinguisher system for our design.

Conclusion Remarks
In our design we have followed and maintained these criteras.

• Maintained electricity Standards and regulatory.

• Followed the BNBC codes for electrical Services Design.
• Safe and Sound for any client.
• Carefully considering factors such load requirements, equipment selection.
• Ensuring efficient power distribution, safety and reliability in various
applications.
