11. GUIDE TO APPLICANTS
IMPORTANT NOTES TO ALL APPLICANTS
(1) All applicants must complete all sections of the application form carefully and legibly.
(2) All applicants must endorse the end of Section 12 that they have understood these notes and that they
agree to their Application being considered under the conditions outlined.
(3) Applicants should submit this form to the Admissions Office, P Bag CY 1534, Causeway
Harare, Zimbabwe. A letter of Acknowledgement will be posted to your contact address.
(4) Forms downloaded from the Internet should be submitted with an application fee of
$100 Rtgs (US$ 50 for foreigners) or bank cheques (cash is accepted only for hand
delivered forms).
(5) All applicants MUST submit with this form, photocopies (NOT ORIGINALS) of all relevant academic and /
or Professional certificates referred to in the application including birth certificate and ID card. The copies
of certificates Must be certified by a Commissioner of Oaths or Head / Principal of the institution at which
the examinations were taken.
(6) Applicants must give careful thought to their choice of programme in relation to the entry requirements
for that programme and their own subject passes. Applicants who are in doubt regarding the choice of
programme should seek advice from the Admissions Office before completing their forms.
(7) It is also important for applicants to understand that admission will be made, as far as possible, in accordance with the
programme preference made by the applicant. THEREFORE, FIRST PREFERENCE SHOULD BE WHAT THE
CANDIDATE GENUINELY WANTS TO PURSUE. No request(s) for change if programme(s) will be entertained

(8) Unsuccessful applications will be due to:
i. Programmes being full
ii. Failure to meet the requirements in terms of points or entrance requirements
iii. Late submission of academic results
(9) Applicants must ensure that they have the necessary finance to pay the full fees on registration day. No
students will be allowed to register at the University unless they have the necessary fees or proof of
sponsorship.
