Princess Charm Club
Chon : Hello, We are from Journal club. My name is Chon and
her name is Fai. Would you mind if we interviewed you about
your club?
Ing: No, no problem.
Chon : Thank you. First question, what is your club’s name?
And Who is your club for?
Jj : It’s Princess Charm club. Our club is for anyone who wants
to improve their charm, learn manners and etiquette.
Fai : Ohhh Princess Charm Club! The name is so stunning
and it makes me wonder what is the reason why you started
this club ?
Goy : The reason is after I finished watching Barbie Princess
Charm School, I was inspired to do something like that.
Cream : If you’re a club member, you can come to have free
tea and also free desserts like cookies!
Fai : Could you tell me more about your club’s activities?
Cream : We have manners and etiquette lessons every
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at our club. You can learn
many things such as dining etiquette, walking like a princess
etc.
Chon : Could you explain what you mean by “walking like a
princess”
Jj : she means that you have to put a book on your head and
walk steadily with your back straight, your shoulder open and
your eyes focused on the front.

Ing: We have tea parties on every weekday at KU tea salon.
You will learn tea table manners during tea time. Such as what
to do and what not to do.
Goy : Every Thursday we also teach how to do social dancing
for use in the ballroom too. Like.. ballad dancing which is a
theatrical arts form using dancing and music.
Chon : Wow, your club’s activities are special and elegant. I

Jj : By the way, our club has one most important rule. Every
member must wear a ball gown. And you can change your
clothes at the dressing room that we prepared.
Goy : You might wonder why we have this rule, right? It’s
because if you don’t wear it, you won't get used to the dress,

Cream : If you wear anything else, we won’t allow you to attend
a club’s event one day.
