EXAMINATION STRUCTURE: CHEMICAL ENGINEERING

SPECIALITY: CHEMICAL PROCESS TECHNOLOGY

1
CHEMICAL ENGINEERING WORKSHOP REPORT

Chemical engineering in the old program was composed of only one specialty, but in the new programme chemical
engineering has been divided into three specialties namely:

 Chemical manufacturing CHM

 Chemical process technology CHP
 Chemical laboratory technology CHL

2
EXAMINATION STRUCTURE FOR SPECIALTY CHEMICAL PROCESS TECHNOLOGY

SOME MODIFICATIONS CARRIED OUT IN THE PROPOSED EXAMINATION STRUCTURE

After studying the programme for the specialty Chemical Process technology, we noticed that Processes and Industrial
Processes plan of experience course code (CPT 125) course content is made up of courses such Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer,
chemical instrumentation and control and material balance. We proposed that this course be adopted as the sole course in case
study given its extensive content. Furthermore we have developed the course content for the Processes and Industrial Processes
plan of experience, and naming it as Processes and Industrial Processes.
