Our Annual Meetings
Rincon’s annual meetings are unique in the AEC, and part of our professional platform. They’re our cultural investment to ensure that we have the most knowledgeable and effective team of professionals in our industry. These day-long meetings serve to empower staff to advance their skills, increase their industry awareness, and develop their professional influence. Not surprisingly, our employees describe our annual meetings as a significantly inspirational event that allows them to enhance relationships with co-workers from other offices, reinforce our companywide vision, and exercise our philosophy of being a fully-connected professional team.
THE BASICS
Our 2025 Annual Meeting brought together Rincon team members across offices for a full day of reflection, connection, and celebration. This year’s program carried the theme of “One Rincon,” emphasizing our collaboration as a core strength, alignment and accountability, and a celebration of people and culture. Through stories, interactive workshops, team challenges, and recognition of outstanding achievements, the meeting reinforced the values that make Rincon strong and prepared us to continue raising the bar.
CUSTOMIZING THE EVENT
In addition to two “all-hands” knowledge sharing sessions, team members attended service line and department staff-led workshops and team building activities. These session strengthened each groups relationships by being able to connect in person and brainstorm on important topics to each group.
MAKING CONNECTIONS
While knowledge sharing is a primary strategy, creating ample networking and relationship-developing time is also critical. Various contests, tenure celebrations, and regional in-person happy hours provided plenty of opportunities to connect with co-workers.
The Annual Meeting is and always has been a wonderful way to connect with colleagues, learn about the amazing work Rincon is doing, celebrate successes, and reground for the end-of-the-year stretch.
As a new employee it was great to meet people in person and understand what Rincon is all about.
The Annual Meeting has become one of my favorite events at Rincon and this year was the best ever. I walked away with a renewed sense of community and purpose and I really enjoyed celebrating company milestones and the outstanding work of our team members!
