An imposing early English silver footed salver with a broad gadroon border to both top and foot. Large size, incredibly heavy weight and very impressive. To the centre is a large hand engraved armorial for the Dowager Countess of Aylesford. A rare feature is the screw action detachable foot.

A beautiful antique silver epergne set with a matching pair of tall dishes. The pierced decoration is particularly attractive with flowers, scrolls and heart shaped ornament. The epergne has five bowls which can be detached and used separately. The pair of tazzas are raised on tall decorative feet and have a shaped cast border. There is a presentation inscription on the centrepiece front and all the dishes are engraved to the centre with a monogram of entwined letters in old fashioned...

French provincial. A 18th century shallow bowl of oval form on a stepped foot with shaped, reeded border. Very heavy weight and good gauge silver. Weight 836g, 26.8 troy oz. Length 26.3cm. Width 6.8cm. Height 7.5cm. Nimes 1742. Maker Louis Maystre. Very useful size, suitable for bread, fruit etc. Makes an excellent wine bottle holder. Marks. Stamped with French silver stamps underneath and on foot rim. Control mark to foot and upper rim.

A curious little silver container in the form of a small teapot with a serpent spout and handle, four heavy cast eagle feet, and the lid finial modelled as a swan. 19th century. Fantastic decorative quality and heavy gauge silver. Likely to be an oil dispenser (oliera), possibly to fill something like a kettle spirit lamp.
