ORGANIC TRANSITION

‘Breaking down the boundaries of form, connecting new possibilities’ This project explores ‘transition of change’ rather than simple ‘change’. It visually expresses the process of organic change, which flows and develops gradually. This video shows the process of existing elements and new elements merging and transforming into one form. It goes through three stages: 1. Crack → 2. Diffusion → 3. Fusion and Formation.






Chapter 1 : Crack

A crack begins to form on the surface of a solid structure. This signals the beginning of a transition. The crack causes liquid to flow out, and the organic flow of the liquid changes the existing structure.






Chapter 2 : Expansion

The process of liquid flowing out through the cracks, breaking down existing boundaries, and connecting with each other is shown. This state is a transitional state where the old and the new coexist, and is an important moment that maximizes the transfer of change.

Chapter 3 : Fusion

Natural and artificial elements are combined, and stones, minerals, light, and plants come together to form a new structure that transcends existing boundaries. Finally, it is reborn as a harmonious finished product.

Concept


The concept was set as a 'rock' with potential inside. Rock is a complex solid material formed by various minerals, and is generally recognized as a material with hard and unchanging properties. It was set as a trigger of change to emphasize the contrast between the properties of solids and changes.
