These works on paper are inspired by life as it is seen through a microscope. Stemming out of a collaborative project with two microbiologists, these imaginative interpretations of the microbial world have developed a life of their own. All paintings in this gallery are made with watercolor and gouache on high quality watercolor paper.

Our planet is such an amazing place. There are so many wonders surrounding us, and yet still so much that remains unknown, just waiting to be discovered. Interestingly, some of the most fascinating things are right at our fingertips.
