Jean DuBuffet Today was an unconventional day in the Art Room. Our kids learned about Jean Dubuffet (French, 1901-1985). Dubuffet disliked authority, conformism and mainstream culture. As a young man he disregarded art education, and himself dropped out of art school choosing instead to teach himself art.
