Didsbury Park, a prestigious Manchester suburb, dispelled the myth that planners will not approve bespoke, contemporary design in conservation areas. Cheshire-based Edmunds Architects designed two detached zero-carbon homes sitting beside grade II listed buildings. These homes combine brick detailing, charred timber cladding, and bay windows to offer a modern interpretation of a traditional family home.
