Socializing can be rough, especially in Pelican Town. I have wasted SO MUCH gold giving out gold star quality goat cheese to Leah, or iridium quality Cactus to Sam, but they never seem to give me anything in return. What's to point? (Okay, so you need 100% friendship for marriage or perfection, but still...)
